A tiled floor is only as good as its foundation
Floor preparation is central to a long-lasting tiled finish. We inspect the existing base for movement, cracks, uneven areas and contamination before recommending the appropriate method. Concrete floors may need priming or levelling, while timber floors can require strengthening, backer boards or a decoupling solution.
The layout is then planned around doorways, kitchen units, sanitaryware and the main sight lines through the room. This gives a balanced appearance and helps transitions into neighbouring spaces feel clean and considered.
We install porcelain, ceramic, quarry, wood-effect and natural stone floor tiles in domestic and commercial settings. Where tiles are being laid over a suitable underfloor-heating system, compatible flexible adhesives and grouts are selected for the installation.
